Digipak

My chosen digipak.

This is going to be on the back of the CD cover. The colour scheme is in black and white. I chose black and white because of what i tried to capture when i creatured the texture for the background. I tried to create a feeling of a dark deep sharp place, this is reprsenting the harsh sharp rejection the boy is getting in the video. I have highlighted 'Sweet Hearts' in red, this gives the text emotion so that people can relate it too love.

The font i have used is the same as that, that can be found on the front cover of the album. I have tried to keep continuity and give a modern indie-like font which relates and connects to the target audience.

The background itself is dark and cold which people can link to the rock and indie genre.

This will be behind the CD. The idea was to show a black background with a half a broken heart on it. The broken heart represents how the main character in the video is feeling. The text is in a contract of colours sweet heart is the same colour as the heart so people can make the connection. Bigger boys is in a typical blue colour, i feel this gives it a boyish feel and the white title is a neutral white which contracts well against the background. The font of the title relates to the one on the front cover and backcovers where as the font in the middle is different to make it interesting.

This is my front cover of my design, it shows the lead signer of the band in the centre piece. I have added a scope effect to show people looking into him, hopefully creating interest and desire to know more.

I have used bright colours and funky fonts for the album front to contrast the black background.
